"Yes," Uriel said. "Do you want me with you?" "It might help as far as Cian goes. I'm still not sure he's that fond of me." A wicked grin curved her lips, she never could resist attempts to needle the poor angel. Uriel tilted his head back and narrowed his gaze, albeit playfully. "At him again?" he asked, a smile threatening to spread across his lips. "He's so easy to get to sometimes. How am I suppose to resist? It's so cute when he bristles." Chuckling, she wasn't one bit apologetic. Mael had gotten her measure but Cian seem to have a harder time seeing beneath her. The angel groaned and his head fell to rest against her chest. "As if he doesn't have enough on his hands," he mumbled, not bothering to suppress the laugh. He looked up at her. "I can't exactly say that I blame you. Cian's always been horribly stoic; it does him good to get ruffled now and then." "He was a bit more than ruffled last time I saw him." Her face had an 'oh so innocent' look but the grin on her lips told more of the story. Reaching her, her fingers ruffled through his hair playfully. "I'm not entirely sure I want to know," Uriel mused. "Are you sure? I can give you the whole story." Laughing, she eyed him. Uriel cocked an eyebrow at her. "All right," he said, "do tell. What have you done to torment Michael’s commander this time?" "Well, he did tell me not to touch Mael. Which was an arrogant thing to do, I'll think you'll agree. And I needed him to clarify which part he didn't want me touch. I guess his shoulder was ok, but his cock is off limits." Her expression bordered on positively gleeful the whole time she spoke. With a pained groan, Uriel covered his face with his hand and rested his elbow on the table. He peered at her from between his fingers. "You didn't." "He is really cute when he bristles, you know. Besides he deserved it after the two of you ganged up on me." Nodding sagely, she just smirked at Uriel. "And Mael thought it was funny, though he didn't dare let Cian see that." Uriel just shook his head. "Cian's highly territorial to the point of obsession when it comes to Mael Black. I'm shocked that he didn't come to me about it. But then, I have a distinct feeling that his prince managed to talk him out of it." "Now you know why he's not exactly happy with me, and you really should be with me when I talk to him." She had to chuckle because it had been funny than hell at the time. Her fingers moved to tweak Uriel's nose as he watched her.
